Үйрөн, изилде, жарат: Көк-Чу балдары үчүн STEAM элементтери менен уюштурулган майрам
As part of the International Children's Day celebration, a festive event was held in the Kok-Chu Community Development Project (CDP) in Chuy Region. The event was organized by Good Neighbors Kyrgyz Republic in partnership with local self-government authorities and community representatives.
The event program was developed based on the results of the community needs assessment and focus group discussions, which identified children's need for greater opportunities to develop STEAM skills as well as access to interactive educational resources. In response to these identified needs, a program combining educational and recreational activities was designed.
During the celebration, children actively participated in educational and creative games provided by Good Neighbors. These activities helped develop logical thinking, creativity, communication skills, teamwork, and a practical approach to learning. The event format enabled children not only to enjoy the celebration but also to gain new knowledge and skills through engaging and educational activities.
The successful implementation of the event demonstrated the importance of partnership among local self-government authorities, local communities, and Good Neighbors in creating an enabling environment for children's development and expanding their access to quality educational and developmental opportunities.
Osh is more than an ancient city with a rich history and the majestic Sulaiman-Too. Above all, Osh is its people, whose hospitality and warmth inspire us every single day.
In this video, we want to show Osh through the eyes of the Good Neighbors Kyrgyz Republic team.
We are proud to be part of this beautiful region's story, helping to create safe conditions for the younger generation and supporting families on their journey toward a better future.

Children’s health and well-being are our top priorities. Under the “Clean Drinking Water in Kindergartens” project, the Good Neighbors Kyrgyz Republic team has successfully completed the installation of modern drinking water filtration systems in 20 kindergartens.
To ensure the continuous and long-term operation of the equipment, 2 additional sets of replacement filters were provided to each kindergarten for future maintenance.
The kindergarten directors and staff expressed their sincere gratitude for the work carried out, emphasizing the importance of providing children with safe and high-quality drinking water every day.
We are delighted that this initiative contributes to improving conditions for children in kindergartens and creating a healthier future for the younger generation!
On September 27, the international STEM project championship for girls, STEMKYZ CUP 2026, took place — a vibrant event that brought together young innovators, mentors, and experts.
We, Good Neighbors Kyrgyz Republic, were delighted to serve as partners for this large-scale event and to support the rising generation of talent. During the championship, we had the opportunity to speak with one of the remarkable participants — listen to the video to learn about the ideas and inspiration shared by the youth of Kyrgyzstan!
For us, supporting children and creating conditions for their growth is a core priority. Guided by our key principle — encouraging self-reliance and the continuous development of individuals, families, and communities — we are proud to be part of such initiatives and to help unlock the potential of every child.
We express our gratitude to the STEMKYZ organizers for creating such a powerful platform, as well as to all the participants for their hard work, courage, and dedication to making the world a better place! 🚀✨
