On the Path to a Rich Honey Harvest: Practical Training for Beekeepers in Bel-Aldy
From May 16 to 18, 2026, a practical training on “Developing Practical Beekeeping Skills in Real Conditions with a Focus on Effective Bee Colony Management and Maintaining Hive Health” was held in the villages of Bel-Aldy, Sary-Sogot, and Korgon.
The training was organized for local beekeepers to enhance their professional knowledge and develop practical skills necessary for successful beekeeping operations. The training was conducted by Muzaffer Yusupov, an experienced beekeeping expert from TES CENTRE, who has dedicated more than 40 years of his professional career to this field.
Over the course of three days, participants refreshed their existing knowledge, learned about modern approaches to bee colony management and disease prevention, and discussed methods for increasing apiary productivity. Special attention was given to the practical aspects of hive maintenance and effective beekeeping management.
The final day of the training took place directly at a local apiary, where participants had the opportunity to apply their newly acquired knowledge under the guidance of the expert. This hands-on learning format enabled beekeepers not only to reinforce theoretical concepts but also to receive answers to practical questions arising in their daily work.
We hope that the knowledge and skills gained through this training will help participants improve the efficiency of their operations, prevent potential losses, and increase the income of their households. A four-day intensive training-of-trainers on implementing the Methodological Guidelines for Creating a Safe Educational Environment for teachers and social educators concluded in Bishkek.
